Footy tipping exercise

Participate in a footy tipping community, win prizes and earn bonus points.
  1. Join footytips.com.au
  2. Submit your tips for at least eight weeks
  3. Gently chide your colleagues' tipping abilities
Your Footy Tipping report, no more than 100 words, should include a few of your reflections on the:
  • Registration process
  • Role of privacy
  • Tipping competition's use of email
  • Website usability
  • Business model for footytips.com.au
  • Use of sports for online marketing
  • Improvements to interactivity and community aspects of online tipping
  • Your ranking as of 25 May.
 Footy resources: Assessment:
  • Follow The Elements of Style
  • Adhere to word count and format
  • 12 point Times New Roman font; 1.5 line spacing; no cover page
  • Staple or paper clip your final standing.
  • Due by the beginning of class, 27 May.
  • Include your word count
There is no academic penalty or reward for your tipping ability. But a few tipping prizes are on offer during the last class.
