Learning objectives: Using examples,
- Relate media characteristics to communities (Hypermedia Table
2 and Ch 10)
- Contrast three types and functions of online communities
(Table 10.1)
- Compare two types of community tools (331-2)
- Discuss four community features and their possible metrics
(Table 10.6)
- Illustrate the evolution of email customer engagement (Table
10.9)
- Explain five differences between Web 1.0 and 2.0 (Web 2.0
reading)
Activities:
- No physical class, rather an online chat with each group. Your
group sets the time and the agenda; you need not be at uni. Week 9 quiz includes
week 8 objectives.
- Explore four of this week's lecture sites or fun readings, 15-20 minutes per site.
